The ladies of WORS turned in some great times this weekend at Ore to Shore.
One of our younger riders was awarded the Stanley Cup of MTB racing, for fastest time by a rider under the age of 15 (photo above). Way to go Moriah!
Elite racer Lisa Krayer was the top finisher among WORS regulars, placing 5th overall in the 48-mile Hard Rock.

Other WORS regulars who raced and placed at O2S include Elite Racers Holly Liske in 6th place, Andrea Matter in 8th, Meghan Korol in 10th, Murphy Kate Montee in 15th, and Christine Czarnecki in 26th and Sport racer Molly Wolf in 29th.
WORS irregulars Kim and Brian Eppen placed 14th overall on their tandem bike, while WORS Subaru Cup winner Jenna Rinehart won the women’s Hard Rock and placed 46th overall - with a time to beat much of the WORS Elite men’s field! Jenna was followed by Kyia Anderson who placed second at WORS Chippewa Valley Firecracker this year.
Thanks to Christine Czarnecki for the photos and the suggestion to post them here!
